New Cages set up!!!!
I am very happy with the boaphile 421D cages....I think they look great. I have to get some more hides and greenery..especially for the middle cage, but the boa hasn't arrived to fill it yet. My husband is going to build a stand for them hopefully this weekend. Just wanted to share a picture. I am so exicted and the snakes love them.. connie

I ordered the boaphiles with 2X belly heat. Each cage has its own Johnsons thermostat. I also have a florescent light in each one. I have the probe from the thermostat under the cage between the flexwatt and the cage. The thermostat is set at 105 degrees which is keeping the temp on top of 2 sheet of paper 95 degrees. THe cool side is 84 on top of the papers. The air temp away from all heat sources is running 83 degrees. The lights are on timers and works well as a night drop. THe temps drop about 4 degrees after the lights have been on for awhile. The humidity is staying at 65%. I have a water bowl under the light and one on the cool side up front so they can have a drink of nice cool water if they choose. The cage on top is a AP and the bottom 2 are the boaphile 421D's. The BP's love them.

wow those are awesome cages. My dad and i are in the process of building a room in my basement for alot of our reptiles. I'm thinking we might just buy a bunch of different cages from them. We'll need alot of room if breeding is good this year.
