Step by Step Plans?
Anyone have any plans they have used or know are good that i can use i am not great at building but do have tools and do have alot of 2x4's downstairs let me know if anyone has plans.

im planning to build a 6 foot enclosure for a boa i checked that site before i am really looking for a bosic cage i can build with easy tools i dont have a router i think so im thinking more like a box with a door lol?

i built a door and put a box on it but i'm backwards LOL. I had planned on doing it one way then halfway through the build i changed the design. I think it's almost better to just have vision and go with it.

I started out using just plywood. Then i changed to the tileboard cage that JuliusSqueezer posted. worked out much better and was a lot lighter.

tileboard is good stuff. It's already water proof...in fact, it's also called shower surround. I figure if they build showers out of the stuff, it's probably ok with moisture..I've been using it for years and still swear by it. It's cheap too!

well im going to take the expensive route im planning on getting a 4 foot cage from boaphiles and having heat tape and a light in it. Is 4 foot alright my snake right now is 29" just measured. And i have had him now for atlease 4 months.

i suggest that you put a divider in it as of right now since he is so small. Build it big, but make the diveder split in into 2x2 sections. He will be much happier for the next year in a 2x2 space. Then you can just pull the divide and | |
