Suri home

I plan to get my Suri soon and had a question about caging. Ive heard it both IS and ISNT reccomended to put smallerr snakes in a bigger cage. She is about 25 inches long ( born in August). I have a 4x2x1 PVC cage right now that she will be going in. It has a removable divider in the ceter essentially making it 2 x 2x2x1 cagess. My question is would it be ok to give her free roam of the whole cage or not. Ive herad it is best to give them the whole cage so they get used to it, but also that if the snake feels too small in it, it will cause stress. I also have a 10 gallon tank if both previos ideas are bad. I think the 10 is too small tho. Any advise is appreciated. Im getting a good deal on a very nice snake so I want to ensure the best possible conditions. Thanks guys....and gals

you would be fine in the big cage, just provide and extra hide or two, and try to put some fake vines in there, just dont leave a lot of open space and you should be fine.

Given that it is only a foot high, the branches dnt have to be very large right? Just enuf to get off the ground? And thanks for the replies. I forgot to ention the extra hides, i knew if I set her loose Id have to give her a few extra places to make up the area.

i go to walmart and buy repel permanone in the camping section. it is in a yellow can and has a blue lid. i spray the wood and let it air out for a hour and then i put it in the cage. i use that to treat the mulch also.
