Will a male BCI be ok to house in a 4x2 boaphile for life? Also if i had the same heating elements in a 6x2 as the 4x2, would i be able to use the same thermostat?

You will probably just want to get 2 of the same size cages to keep the temps identical. For example a 4' cage would get heated quicker than a 6' cage basically because less area to heat. A male should be ok in one but then again male bci can still reach 7' over the period of many years. Someone here has a 7.5' male I think. Tom maybe

yes two seperate sized cages can be run on on stat as long as the heat is proportionate tyo the cage size and substrates etc etc.

If you have a 4x2x1 with 40 watts of heat then a 6x2x1 would want about 60 watts of heat to do the same thing. However heat mass play a role in all of this . Substrates will effect the heating of the cages as to how weel they heat up and cool down ..!!
