Plants in tank?
I can't really think of any obvious problems this would cause, but some of the biggest problems aren't always obvious...so any expert opinions on putting live plants in the tank w/ a snake?

It depends on the plants, and if they like being layed all over and smashed by a snake....

Depends on the plant and the snake. In a boas tank you would have compressed plants

Deffently helps with humidity. I want to do a setup in my 50 gallon tank when my boa out grows it. I want to put some live plants in it and maybe some tokays or something.

Just do your homework and make sure they are not toxic to... whatever kind of snake you were putting them in with. If I knew, I'd tell you, but I don't think I'd ever use live plants in the tank, so I have no reason to research. Also, I'd worry about mites and bacteria hanging out in the dirt or on/inside the plant.
Too much work, I'd say.
