Question Substrate for our little BRB

We've had our rainbow boa for a couple of weeks now. I've got tempertures pretty stable from 75-82. Cha cha is regulating herself mostly by burying herself in various locations. I've got humidity swinging from 90 to about 75 each day, based on once daily spraying. I have one hide at the cool end and she can bury herself over the UTH to warm up.

My question is this: I have her on coconut bark. Is that appropriate for a 3 month old BRB? It seems to hold humidity well enough and allows her to bury herself. I like the appearance of the coconut bark. Negatives would be...?

I have considered switching over to spagnum moss. Would I put enough in her tank for her to bury herself? I thought otherwise I would just set up another hide bos in the warm end. She does like to burrow, though...

tia!

(bump)

I don't know much about coconut bark. I do know that the best substrates are Aspen, Cypress or newspaper... anything else is questionable, at best.

when it burrows over the UTH can it be burnt by being in contact directly with the bottom of the tank?

I have a foam layer in between the UTH and the tank so there are no hot surfaces in the tank. Otherwise, you're right, there would be an issue.
