Build new cage
HI everyone i am new here and i am building a new cage. I have the wood already but i just need to cut it up. I was wondering what would be the best way to make the doors. And how expensive will the doors be.

This has been my dilema too. I have the plywood (free) so besides heating, this looks like it will be the most expensive part of the project. What size cage do you intend to build? What I found is I can go to a thrift store and pic up a piece of furniture (stereo cabinet, etc) that has a large piece of 3/8" glass for real cheap and either cut it to size myself or have a hardware store cut it for $5. The same glass would cost me much more if I went to the hardware store and bought it seperately or purchases acrylic. Just a thought.....I'm cheap!

You may have a problem recutting the glass if its the same as in the UK it has to be toughened for furniture use and after toughening you can't recut it.
