can't really stack up on tanks and not handy enough to make them myself
wish IKEA had a "make it yourself" tank enclosure... maybe we should pitch the idea

Yeah, bummer about no one making RTA Cages, but I remember seeing somewhere a post about how to convert a shelving system into a set of cages...try looking in the Herp Hardware section...it'd be a really old post, so you may have to look back a ways (hopefully that's the right section)

As far as building it yourself, it's really just a box...one of the first things they teach you to make in woodshop. And enough people here have built their own, I'm sure you can get plenty of advice. I dont know where you're from, but if we got a member local, most of us are friendly enough that they'd probably let you come take a good look at it to see how it's built

Good luck

I think the best and most cost effective way of makeing cageing is to use plastic storage bins. Plastic is far easier to clean and disinfect that wood and is much better at holding in humidity if needed. Most have locking lids and it is vary easy to bolt on screening for ventilation. If you have the money I would suggest buying Vision or Neo's, they make some great tanks.
