The cheapest I have been able to find a 55gal is for $100 at my local Petsmart. I guess I need to shop around a little. I have looked on Ebay and found some REALLY nice snake/reptile enclosures...I mean really awesome ones...but they are all "PICK UP ONLY", and if they can be shipped its outrageous. I have a Superpets too, and they have a 45 gal for $75. Right now all my guys are set cage wise, but when my Ball Python gets larger...of course he will need a bigger cage. I am still doing some re-search to see what type of cage I want to get him. All my other snakes are in just glass with screen tops. |

at some reptile shows there is a guy who sells glass cages $1 per gallon, sorry don't know his name/company tho. Local classifieds, craigslist and yahoo, newspapers, are good for finding cheap tanks, so are flea markets and garage sales sometimes. Also some local herp societies do auctions/sales yearly (at least the one in the bay area, ca did) and it was a great place to pick up used cages and glass tanks for cheap. That is a good find you got there strikerrat!

I got a 4 foot custom cage off Craigslist for $75. It was perfect for what I was looking for.
