I am picking up my 2 RTB's tomorrow, I have a 10 gallon tank for starters, I plan on going bigger real soon, the temp is at 87, how am I doing so far? Is it ok to keep them in the same tank?

Any Advice?...Ask these sort of questions sooner
But seriously...it's sorta OK. They are the same species, so you dont run the risk of them trasferring foreign pathogens, etc. to one another. But they aren't a social creature, needing or seeking interaction with others, and living in the same tank means they have to compete for warmth and space. But yes, it can be done, and if adequate space and warmth can be provided, it can be done with little ill effect. When that 10 gal becomes too small, (you know, sometime next week ) consider getting two enclosures.
And welcome to RTB! Stick around and enjoy the show

In a smaller tank, it could be rather stressful, but if it is only for a short amount of time, they should be ok. I have 2 male bci sharing a 40 gal at the moment...and they are still a bit small, plenty of places for each of them to hide....
87 sounds good for a 'warm side' but they need a cooler area in there, too...hard to do with a small tank...get them in something bigger and separated if you can manage it. If you end up keeping them together, be sure to get separate tubs for feeding them in...after feeding, wait a few minutes (or an hour or two) then rinse them off in warm water before placing them back in the enclosure. If one smells rat on the other, it will go into a feeding response and bite...
Can't think of anymore to say right now...I'm not feeling too well. Good luck with your babies and I'm sure others will give you plenty of advice!

Good luck with them. seeing how they are the same snakes I wouldn't worry too much about leaving them together, just make sure to seperate them during feeding and have at least 2 hiding places and a big enough water bowl for them to both fit comfertably in.
