I have. You CANNOT put them inside the cage. If you put your finger over the ultra sonic pad when it's turned on, you'll see why. Aside from that, they really heat up the water... don't want to cook your critter. I used a semi-tall tupperware container on the top of the cage. Fill the container about 1\2 or 3\4 full (whater level your fogger is most effective at). Just above the water line, cut an upside down T in the platic and push the folds in. This allows a hole for the fogg to escape and drop into the cage, but the flaps you folded in prevents splash. I personally would just get a better enclosure for humidity purposes, as this type of set up is more of a pain then a fix.
