Viv Help
ok guys dont shoot me down in flames
i got this info from another website and hope u can help more it says you can keep boas in a 4ft by 2ft by 1ft high vivs i supose it is biger than some racks they keep them in the collection is growing now so got to start thinkin about new vivs

Yes, a 4x2x1 would hold a Max of an 8ft boa. Height isnt important b/c boas are ground dwelling critters.
The most important thing is floor space.
That funny thing is, you picture it in your head, but once its built and you see your critter in it, you being to see just how much room is actually in there.

For an 8' boa I prefer a 6'X2'X1'. I think a boa should be able to strech out, but a 4'X2'X1' is certainly a decent size. You may want to check out:

if you can build the enclosures yourself then go for it..just look at a few different places that sell vivs and make your own design. dont waste your money on something you can build yourself. unless your lazy..lol

I live in an apartment and have no tools available... otherwise I would build my own too. If you don't have that option, I love Boaphile cages.
