great news, tank almost finished.

On saturday my friend and I constructed the top of the wooden enlcosure that should be done in 2 weeks. It is 6x2x2 ft and the all out of wood. The top is in 3 wooden sections, they fit snug, and will have holes for screen soon, if not now (he may have worked on it yesterday). We are going to use pins to secure the 3 sections to make sure my RTB cant get out. All sides are wood, except one long side will have a mounted plexiglass sheet for viewing, and it doubles as a hatch with hinges. We went to menards, found Rust-Oleum, and we are going to use the Rust-Oleum painters touch primer gray, then white. Will that make the table-smoothness im looking for?

That sounds exactly what I did for my RTB. It will turn out smooth and it really looks good when it's finished.
