Finish
my friend is almost complete building the 6' wooden customized tank for my C-RTB. What type of finish should i use for the inside. I want something white, and water repellant, and cheap.

Rust Oleum Painters Touch is real good. But after you are done you have to let it air out for a few days. Dries hard and water tight. Has a gloss finish for easy clean up.

Yes it dries hard and smooth. Like I said cleans real nice. Just like washing your table.

You could also use shower surround. All you have to do is cut it to right measurements, use liquid nails to secure it, and of course seal the edges with a water proof sealant.

I agree, tileboard is great, cheap, and provides a super slick surface. Also, its durable. I use a 12 inch drywall taping knife to "clean up" after my snakes, and I dont have to worry about scratching paint, or wearing the paint off.
