Cage Questions

I know i need heat but do i need a light. What is the best bet is it boaphile or something else. Boaphile has the options that make it expensive. Help Boa's on the way

If your snakes are kept in a dark windowless basement or something where lights are not turned on during the day, then you need to light the cage. If your snake room has a window, then lighting the cage would be for your viewing pleasure or for added heat. They do need a regular day/night cycle but usually ambient room light is all they need as long as the other method(s) of heating the cage are suffecient. Boaphile makes a nice sturdy well thought out cage. Personally, I would rather build because I can make 3 sturdier cages for the price of a single boaphile.

They can be found throughout the forums and ding a search on google will turn up lots of results. I personally like Jeff's cages for my boas. Then is AP for large racks and Casey Hulse for smaller ones!
