Anyone know about Nolvasan?
I use Nolvasan as a disinfectant for my cages.. I just wondered if anyone knew how long the stuff has to sit to be effective? I've been letting it sit for 15 minutes.. is that too long?

I spray on and wipe off. Same thing your vet does when they clean the tables.

Yep, Nolvasan works very quickly. Just a note- look around for the generic stuff. I just got some from work for a third of the price of the name brand.

Great. Thanks for the advice guys. I saw a gallon jug of generic nolvasan at beanfarm.com for $30. That seems pretty good to me.

Look around- I got this stuff for $11. It's called Hexasol, but it's the same stuff.

very good.....seeing that the mixture is usually 1-2 oz per gallon.

I sell the viosan, which is pretty much the same thain. One has alchol and one does not. I spray and wipe too. I use this stuff for everything...I even clean the outside of my racks with it..Yup 2 oz per gallon of water and it will last forever.....

$11 is really cheap.. I'll have to look around.
