breeding childrens pythons in the tropis

i am in the process of buying a male childrens python 4 my female, i would like to find out how old should a childrens python be befor he/she starts breeding and what should i look out 4 when they start to mate ect. ? any help on breeding childrens python would be greatly appreciated

they are pretty standard as far as snake breeding goes.
I would say 3-4 years would be a good age for a female, and 2-3 for a male.

body weight is more the key for those.
They reproduce alot like a colubrid more than a python.

reproductive husbandry of pythons and boas, by G.Ross and H.marzek.

if your going to get into boid breeding at all, you should have it as a reference.
