I know this has been a hot topic in a different section but I'm posting about something completly different. I'm getting a little ahead of myself but I was thinking of getting a couple peruvians next year, a male and a female. I like the idea of their size without getting into a burm.
Does anyone out their have any peruvians? I wanted to know how their temperment is and if anyone has had any sucess in breeding? I would like to possibly breed them at somepoint down the road.

they are tipical babies. hissy and striky, but quickly calm down.
they do attain a great size but that is all dependant of feeding.

most people feed their snakes according to what "they- as humans think should eat", not according to what the snake can actually eat.

as far as husbandry and breeding- pretty much the same. you can go to www.riobravoreptiles.com and see his breeding paper for true red tails.

I have a breeder offering $600 a pair, does this seem like a good price. They are 8 months old and 3' long, claims to be eating well. I'm waiting for pictures.

The breeder is Rio Bravo reptiles. As anyone had any dealings with them? The pictures he sent seemed very good, beautiful red tails.
