First off, HI! I've been busy and it's good to be back... second, ok... my little girl just laid eggs... Both of my gecks are femmes... so I figured geckos do what some birds do, lay non fertilized eggs. Am I right? Lemme know.... If I' wrong, well then my other little girl has got some ISSUES

LOL.. I dunno about the gecks doing that or not myself. I do know that Igs can and will lay unfertilized eggs though. Someone will be along that knows the answer shortly for ya no doubt. I am also moving this into the breeders forum.. It just doesn't have anything to do with RTB's that I can see at all

What species yah got ?..(Does that make a difference ,i dunno )
Last year my 2 Grandis day (Phelsuma Madagascariensis Grandis) laid about 17 to 20 eggs.
Being that they only lay 2 eggs per clutch (5 clutches?) then by default by the #'s they are both female's.So...YES,they do lay eggs without a male present.
So i ordered a male from a ditz in NY.
That fool sent me the wrong species. He sent me a Phelsuma Madagascariensis Madagascariensis.
Maybe you all remember his ad on ksnake etc ?,he said it "thinks he is a hampster".
..and had it for sale with a crested (probably a Tokay, ).

StopStaring, you have leos, am I right? It's possible that they lay unfertilized eggs. But, have these leos ever been bred in the past? Geckos are capable of retaining sperm and fertilizing eggs long after the mating itself.

Usually, the first clutch of a female leo's eggs are un-viable. Call it a practice round if you want. Incubate them, and hope for the best!!

Well ha ha I just remembered this post was here... she just laid again... I'm laughing to myself, I'll have to call the lady I get them from because they are SUPPOSED to be both female. And I don't have an incubator, or I'd do it.... I just wouldn't wanna pet store em, ya know?

You can go to just about any feed store (cattle, horses, chicken feed) and get an incubator there. Hovabators are pretty cheap, only about $35 to $40. Or, you can make your own incubator by going to this link.
Best of luck!!
