can you? yes. Should you? no. Snakes have no morals as to imbreeding and will gladly do it. But it causes their offspring to have any number of genetic weeknesses and health issues.

agreed with julius on this matter.
some people have reported having larger litters with larger babies in some species of snake
due to in or line breeding. i still wouldnt do it.

just like hets for any morph n stuff, breeding 2 boas that have the same anomoly in one gene will bring it out in the children born: ex- cancers, bug eyes, head shape disorders, frequent RI's, etc...

some people do it as parts of their business, some have new boas that will only show these types of traits because of such activity- but when crossed out- the babies will be normal. an ex of this would be the saddless boas n stuff.

find another boa from the same species/ subspecies/ locale of equal or better beauty and breed them together.

good luck

will

i started thinking the same thing
i returned the male and i'm supposed to get another female from him this weekend

i'm not sure if i misunderstood how old they are or if i was missled, i thought he said they were born on 2-2-02 but she is 37 inches long and about as big around as a fifty cent piece

i'm confused! i'm going to go find some books so i will know what kind of questions to ask him when i see him

the age is not that important i just don't know why he would be untruthful?

i would like to know an approx. age if you know how to tell
