For those of you who remember my male san matias rosy will not eat, it's been nearly four months and no progress. He hasn't lost too much weight and is still pretty healthy. I've decided that if he mated that could stimulate his feeding response. If anyone lives in the Northeast US and has a Baja female that they would like to mate with mine, please let me know.

From what I understand about roseys is that they won't get the urge to breed unless they are brumated. Also i don't think this is th reason if you have no female roseys in the area. I could see if you did have a female near by. My male BP went off feed because i had the female too close and he could smell her. I think there may be some other issue involved here that we arent seeing.

What are the temps and humidity levels in the cage?
Have you changed rodent suppliers or has the store you are buying them from changed?

i am getting some ct saslowi's
the mid baja, (bay of la)
are they what you have????
try scenting with a lizard or something.
the ones i am getting are breeders and when they are brumated, the temps are in the 50's!!
so unless you are giving them those temps, i dont thing they are in a brumation state.
how old is this particular snake??? ya got pics????
lets breed!!!!!

I think you're going to have to try her e-mail will. She is now inactive here. -Juggalo
