anyone have luck with larger males?

After my friend and I made plans to try and breed this summer, he bought his male without reading much of anything and ended up with a 7 foot male and me with my 6 foot female. Has anyone ever had any luck breeding a female to a larger male. I read on a few sites that it can either be a good thing or a bad thing. Good-the female may be an aggressive breeder and produce a good litter and may help because the male has more to burn off during breeding...or bad-the male is too aggressive and the female shies away.

i had that same problem my male is exactly 7ft and my female is 6.4
and i put them together to just transport them to my new house and they started courting and then locked up. so there is hope.

mine have been together for about 3 days now so I hope they did the deed and I just missed it
