Pictures!
Hey, I really don't feel like reading through all the posts for pictures; but I recently, on a curiosity search, saw a pair of ball pythons that were gorgeous! They were light purple, light pink, and light orange; and I forget what they were classified as.
Anyways, I loved looking at the pictures; so I want breeders with a minute to spare to post their most unique colored creatures here, for mine and others's viewing pleasure. I would prefer snakes, but if you want to squeeze somethine else in, please be my guest.
I don't remember the site, it was accessed on another computer, but if anyone has any websites I would also appreciate seeing those.
This site has a somewhat similar reptile, as well as some beautiful morphs:

GORGEOUS! I love the golden heads, they contrast wonderfully with the light lavender pattern outlines. And, the patterns themselves are relatively complex; I don't know if its because of the morph or if your original normal retic was a nice pattern, but these are gorgeous snakes. Hopefully more will be posted!

To CraigL; do you mind if I put one of these on my wallpaper website? I've been looking for some nice big retic pictures, and these ones would work well.

I just have to say I have heard good and bad things about NERD. Ive never taken the time to really surf through their site because of my opinion on their practices involving morphs and their support to venomoid procedures..
Im not a supporter of generations of inbreeding to create morphs so people can make money fast and easy at the detriment of the animal..HOWEVER, Im not blind and SOME of the morphs are fairly unusual and attractive IMO. (That doesnt mean I like the ethics some breeders employ)
That being said: things like this statement made by NERD REALLY put me off, and just further cement my original stance on breeding morphs (at least in THIS way)
In relation to the green head BP:

We bred this into the albino strain and bred back the double hets (once in 2000) and failed to hatch anything but possible hets. In 2001 we bred the original female to her het albino son; she became gravid and then eggbound. The eggs were HUGE and she subsequently died. Hopefully the hets will go again this season and we can finally prove this mutation. Stuff like this can be very discouraging!

Yeah I can imagine it was VERY discouraging to the snake as well

I hadn't really read the methods, but I see your point. And especially their support towards venom gland removal; to get my two cents in on that, there is no point in removing a venomous snakes method of killing prey and defending itself. Would people even want a pet rattlesnake if it wasn't poisonous? When I get my copperhead - which will be awhile, I'm still a bit of an ameteur at this - it's because I feel I am ready for something dangerous and more challenging.
