breeding arrangements

Hi,
I've been considering this for the past couple years but just not sure of it. I've got a lovely RTB/Salmon Boa mix which people have often asked if I'm going to breed. I don't have the expertise, nor the time in owning her to really know what to expect. But I might be willing to work out and exchange arrangement for anyone interested.

Here are some pics of her. She's approx 3-4 years old at 6'4". (give or take)
If she needs to be older (or bigger) please let me know. As I've said, I'm inexperienced when it comes to this.

this one shows off a lot of the pink in her. She also has a lot of pink on her underside which I've had difficulty photographing.

this one shows of more of her whole body

this is the best "up close" one I've got so far.

She's really got some beautiful red saddles on her tail.

Hi!
Personally I would give her at least another year before you tried to breed her. She does look big enough, but breeding is more about maturity than size. Was she a littermate to a salmon? (Doesn't look salmon to me?) She has some nice color tho and I love her tail.
Next year or year after, I would be willing to try a breeding loan with you. I will have either an albino or salmon male by that time big enough if you are still interested. But like I said, I would give her another year (let her get to 5 yrs old) just my opinion!!
Good luck whatever you decide to do! It really is an amazing site to see new born baby boas!

Thanks for the info! Her mom was a regular Columbian RTB and dad was the Salmon boa. I saw pictures of dad and BOY was he pink! But she does show more of the RTB. But it is hard to show off the pink she's got. It runs down her sides from her head and DEFINATELY on the belly. (poor vet I took her to for a check up thought she was sick because of it, apparantly that's a sign; but she has other places -top & bottom- of her belly that aren't pink)

But I would be happy for a breeding loan (we can work it out later). Next year. I think it would be interesting to see what sort of babies she gets.
