This is my very first experience with a clutch of eggs. My burm laid 25 and there were 6 slugs. Some of them got too wet and I'm not sure they will survive, they started to collapse and turn yellow. But I have 6 that look perfect and then I have white ones that have a dent or crease in them.
My question is: can I save the ones that are dented like this? These were on the top of the clutch and I think they got too dry or didn't get enough humidity. I have moved most of the eggs in to an incubator and need to know some opinions on how to care for them so that They might still live. or does the indent mean that I'm too late?
Also the ones that got too wet and they began to yellow, can they be gradually dried in order to save them or what? They were on the bottom of the clutch and a couple of them have blue spots or lines on them as well.I don't think they got enough oxygen before I removed them from the female.
I feel so bad that I may lose these eggs, It's probably my inexperience and allowing her to incubate that caused these problems and I'm hoping some of you can give me some good news, so far I think I may only get the 6 that look good, but they aren't due to hatch till the middle of August and I don't want to lose anymore than necessary.
