Can anyone reccomend a site that tells the reccomended weights for male and female BPs to start breeding? I'l like to do this with in the next year or so , and when I go to the next reptile show I want to get a female for him that will be a good gram weight for breeding.
Thanks a lot!!

I don't know about sites but I can recommend to different videos. One is all about ball pythons by dave and tracy barker the other is Dr. Mark seward's ball python breeding. As for the weight the consesus seems to be 1500+ grams for females and maybe slightly less for males hope this helps.

I was thinking about 1500-1600 grams (approx. 4.5-5 lbs.) for females. I believe males only need to be at least 1200 grams (approx. 3.5 lbs.).

Nothing really to do with anything... but I never realized that there were so many New Yorkers here, not to mention from Long Island...
