Oh Boy... you just opened a BIG can of worms!
We feed frozen/thawed ONLY... most people on these forums do, too. Feeding pre-killed has a few problems, feeding live has even more....
Do a search, you will see many threads that deal with this issue.

I feed only frozen thawed rats to my boas.
Here is a link to show you why LIVE FOOD is not a good idea.

I have had people bring me boas that have been badly bitten, even one with its tail bone exposed(about 2 inches). So yah I think I will stay with f/t.I have had a few that would only eat live when I got them in.I would then prekill and get them to eat and eventually they would start eating f/t.

I agree f/t is the best, second is pre killed I avoid live if I can, the only time I dont mind live is if I am feeding fuzzy or smaller something that cant do damage, live and prekilled can carry bacterias and what not that snakes can get. Not all but most bacterias and what not that can be transferred to snakes will die once frozen.

f/t only... my little bugger will never have to see a live critter as long as I am taking care of him.

I don't think anyone here feed f/t or p/k cos of "cruelty to mice", etc. It's about the risk that a rodent poses to a snake. Ask anyone for horror stories about severed tails or snakes killed.

Yep, or crickets, fishes, etc.
You'll probably only feed p/k rodents if you're breeding them or getting them live. But if you're buying bulk frozen rodents, then they'd be f/t, which I totally agree is still the safest way to feed the snakes.
