Size of boas
hi, I want a boa constrictor but i dont know what type to get. I want the smallest sized one when its a fully grown adult can somebody please help!!!

Well that all depends on the type of boa really
Rosy boa's don't get big at all...but most people when they see one dont think "Boa".
If your looking for the traditional boa, then I would go with something like a Hogg Island or some other Island related boa's. Most of those dont get as big as say a Columbia or True Redtail.
Thats my 2 cents...I am sure others here will throw in there suggestions.
BTW do you have a cage already? If not that is a very important thing to consider also.

Hogg Island Boas don't get quite as large as some of the others but even at 6-7 feet and quite girthy they can be pretty impressive. What size is small enough? Is it cage space you are dealing with or physical strength handling? thought about sand boas or something?

look into rosy boas and sand boas sands i hear can be a lil picky eating though...let us know what size range you are lookin into then we can go from there

Thanks. i dont have a cage as yet but im just gathering as much infomation as i can at the moment so i know what im doing.
I already have a ball python and its 6 months old. so im not the beginner beginner lol. Thanks anyway BOSSMAN i will have a butchers at the snakes you suggested.
