Surinames what are they temperments like

The Suris I've had in the past have been every bit as gentle as my BCI's, even though some people report them to be "nippier" than common boas. Conversely, I've known grumpy BCI's. I think much of a snake's temperment depends on how much you handle and interact with them, as well as optimal environmental conditions. There's always the exception now and then, but basically...be one with your snake!!!

	Boa Constrictor Imperator Boa Constrictor (Boa constrictor imperator). Most common is the Colombian Boa.

	Suriname Redtail Boa Red Tail Boa Constrictor (Boa constrictor constrictor) from the locale of Suriname. Considered to be a "True" Red Tail.

HI,
I have 2 Guyana sub adults almost three years old. they are puppy dog sweet and have never tagged me to date.
Most BCC as babies are very aggresive and fiesty they clam down after a few months.
Be sure you have your cage temps and humidity right mine like it a couple degrees warmer than BCi and seem to like a little more humid.
Good Luck they can get rather large a big female will easily get to nearly 10 ft. and have a rather large body.

ps I hope you can build a large cage. my 2 are over 6 ft now and a handfull at times out of the cage. BCC seem to be very strong an determined at times.
