Re: Pucallpa boas.. DUW
Thanks Gus!
I am having so much fun with your Grandkids I am beside myself. I need to set them up individually and start feeding them, but I am having such a good time looking at them in larger drawers in small groups. Off the charts lovely critters. I can't wait to see some of them when they get a little more size on them.
The last one is especially lovely. The bright yellow shining around the saddles makes me weak in the knees...

Re: Pucallpa boas.. DUW
the 7th, 8th and 9th are for sure some of the prettiest boas i have ever seen. are they really that gray looking or is it the light? i have always wanted a really gray/silvery boa. again, those tails look just like silk or satin. they cannot possibly feel like a normal boa tail.

You know something? .. normally when I post pictures, it's of animals that I especially like and am proud of.. and people picking and choosing which one is best (and by default not-so-best) .. just aggravates the (fill in this blank) out of me! It's not that I don't think other people's opinion counts.. it's more of what I think of the discriminatory mentality of deciding (by a photo no less!) what should be allowed (to live and perpetuate itself) and what should not.. Ridiculous! (best non-censored term I can think of).
.
However, you are without a doubt a special person and have my permission to pick and choose (and aggravate me) all you like!
.
Just between you and me.. .. that pale, satiny-gray look is something only displayed by small red tail boas of a few lineages and is a temporary phenomenon..
.
But I'm not disappointed by how any boa I spend time with or raise up turns out.. It's all good!

gus you know me, i love them all and if i was to buy one i would ask for the one that people seemed to like the least. that is how i always got all my snakes...i asked for the handicapped ones or the ones that people liked the least. actually i am glad to know you dont like when people pick certain ones cause i hate picking, it always makes me feel bad. let me start over....great looking boas, all of them. i like that better too.

I don't know if every boa you own is stunning or it's just your mad photography skills.
Thanks for sharing.

Absolutely stunning, always such perfect pics. What kind of camera do you use?
