I just gotta say something...this guy that has the boa with the abcess, growth, tumor, whatever you want to call it...I would never buy from someone who wouldn't just take her to a vet because she needs it and not just because he wants to sell it. To top it all off he wanted you to pay EXTRA for her because he did the responsible thing and took her to the vet?

Sorry, but people like that disgust me. He's just in it for the $$, obviously. I feel bad for that boa. A good breeder will eat the cost of the vet bill for the snake's sake. It shouldn't reflect in the price. Period.

As everyone else has stated, you can find a much better boa for the same price from a quality breeder. You may even be able to find a very inexpensive 'normal' from a quality breeder and then you'll have extra money to buy an enclosure, supplies, and food.

Clockwork Reptiles often vends at the Denver shows. He has the most beautiful BCC's and BCI's for very reasonable prices. Guyanans and Suris usually run around $170 with high pink and purple in them. He had a gorgeous pink BCI one time for $125. It's great to get them when they're little so they can grow up with you. You will know their history, and you can handle them frequently and have them get used to you. You can also break them of being head shy pretty easily when they're little.

	Boa Constrictor Constrictor Red Tail Boa Constrictor (Boa constictor constrictor). Refers to "true" red tail boas such as the Guyana and Suriname locales.

	Boa Constrictor Imperator Boa Constrictor (Boa constrictor imperator). Most common is the Colombian Boa.
