Holy crap! I can definitely see why you'd want to hold that one back. He's gorgeous!

You know what, I never thought about him being a blonde, but it does look that way from this pic.
I think it's more in the way the sun is hitting him.
His mother is an 02 B.Miller "silverback" line, and the father is from Lee Barrie,I believe Lee's Bolivians are from Tim Belknap.
He gets his dots from dad,who is more of a buckskin color.
Any new developments from your Bolivians KaiYudSai?
THANKS

Re: Bolivian holdback
I was just reading about these guys, what a beautiful example. How large do they get? Am I wrong or did I read that they stay a little smaller?

They do stay somewhat smaller, and they are not an animal you can power feed, they just don't have the growth rate that
I think some other boas do.
I have a pair that will be eight years old later this year and they're in the 5' range.I do have a female that will turn ten this year and she is quite a bit bigger, about 7'.
THANKS

I think some of the Belknap Bolivians were what founded the Blonde lines... you can also see the silverback influence.... the best of both worlds I would say........ A very nice boa indeed
My Bolivian pairing seems to be going along just fine..... I thought I saw an ovulation... but the male has been continuously breeding her since then... so Im guessing it was a false alarm...... But he's still going at it... the've been together since late October...LOL Of course they didnt start copulating till December.... The female is looking quite large though... and the body is shaped like a gravid boa... so who knows..... Errggg I need an ultrasound!!!!! it could just be preovulation swell.... it's definitely not a textbook breeding like my Surinam pairing was.......
this is a pic from December... both of them are in their dark phase in this shot

Re: Bolivian holdback
Your female is sexy! I love her look!
Here's pics from Barry of my 2... I'll get more
Female
Male
She is everything I LOVE and wanted in a silver back! and he's just stunning with his blue to black phasing... I want one or 2 more BCI morphs, and then I deff. think I will be investing in more locale boas... Can't beat a gorgeous pure blood
