my first boa!
this is my first boa. he was named sammy by my mom.... LOL he is alittle over a foot, still a baby. he was sold to me by a breeder freind. was told that he is a BCI, because the parents were from central america. i know these pics are not very good, but im waiting for him to settel in before i start messin with him. i was going to get a corn snake ( wanted a nother snake) but when i held this little guy he wraped himself around my wrist and looked my right in the face and seemed to say " ok, were we goin??". after that i couldnt say no! lol very relaxed guy. well here he is.

Fantastic! That's great, the first one (watch out, there will be more) is always the best. I'm glad he's calm for you, mine was anything but, haha. But eight months later, mine has really calmed own.

congrats on your first boa!!! I love the expressions they give sometimes. Some of mine are curious and check me out everytime I am around them. I can never tell if the are saying "hey dad, what you doing over there?" or if they are saying "come here fat boy, let me nip that hand again", LOL.

thanks guys! im going to try and feed him today. he seemed hungry! lol and to altownneed1 i was told he should max out at 6ft, maby 7. they are suppose to be smaller than a true RTB.
