i have a columbian redtail boa. its is a midium gray color, i know that bci darken as they grow but i always seen in pictures the larger columbian are a light tan or beige color. is there a true color for a full growm columbian.

columbians come in a large variation of colors. We have adults that range from gray with lots of black freckling, to pink, and even a deep redish color. Yes many are a mudy cream or tan color but not all. [img]modules/Forum/images/smiles/icon_cool.gif[/img]

There's no real set color BCI should be for sure, there are a lot of slight variations. Neonates are always a little more grey until their first half dozen sheds or so. There are some localities that tend to be more grey even as adults, like bloodlines coming from north Costa Rica. Still BCI, just different locality. Do you have any pics? How old is it? -Juggalo

my columbian i think is a few months its only about less than 2 feet i only had for about a little longer than a month
