Gus, you always do such a nice job of framing and lighting when you take your pictures. It always shows your creatures for what they are-simply beautiful. Thanks for posting.

Re: Why not?
Dude, my jaw just dropped and fell through the floor. Those animals are indescribable. Are the first two pictures depicting the same animal? Such an incredible change from youngster to adult. I love how those animals bodies' are solid rectangles. They look to be in great shape! Thanks for sharing!

Re: Why not?
Hey thanks a million! I love these boas, though some are no longer mine..
.
It's interesting to try and follow your 'kids' after they leave home, so-to-speak. As it happens the buyer of this snake (below) frequents this forum and regularly posts new photos of that great red tail... always more beautiful and perfect (he is an advanced keeper and it shows).. that snake is a real treasure!
.

.
.. but of this snake (below).. I know nothing.. I've always thought that particular Suriname snake had the potential to stop freeway traffic.. especially after achieving 2 meters or more!
.

.
The hardest thing for an animal enthusiast- turned animal business-person to do.. is learning you can't keep everything and to 'let the kids go'!
.
Thanks again!
