moss substrate
i just bought fluckers all natural moss and was wondering if it was a good substrate. i was previously using eco earth and that didnt hold moister. it also didnt look good lol
|

im also wondering about this i thought i was a good idea im also using eco earth and i know what u mean by it doesnt look good..

yeah i have him in it now and it looks really good. i think aspen looks the best though but that wont work with my glass cage

I don't know if a moss substrate is good for a RTB, its constantly wet, which could lead to scale rot and other problems.

moss is a good substrate to use in a humidity hide  i wouldnt use it for the whole cage though unless you have good ventilation.

Skip the Pet Store marketing - Go to Home Depot and buy the premium grade Orchid Moss.........Or buy it in a bale......Anything less than the premium stuff will break down way too quick........
