Re: Super Jungles.
Jimi,
I have heard the same thing. I can not say if its true or not, I would love to have one to prove it myself. I only have Jungles, no supers. I have heard though that the first supers that anyone will see bred are females, and not males.

Re: Super Jungles.
Thanks folks for all the feedback.
I am keeping my fingers crossed that at some point - and in the not too distant future, we will hear of someone having success with a Super J.
Some people are still paying 'big bucks' for Supers, so I guess as long as we still have believers, we still have hope.
Meanwhile let's all keep our ears close to the ground.

Well I know of a male Super that has indeed bred this year, and now waiting to see if live young will be produced. Let's hope.

That's the kind of news we need to hear!
Please update us, if and when you hear of the outcome of this breeding. Fingers crossed everyone!
Anyone else out there hearing of any similar breedings involving Super jungles?

Re: Super Jungles.
I own a few supers and i have found that the males are lazy. I like to keep 2 males on hand for every female to better the odds .

Re: Super Jungles.
This is a really old thread that has re-surfaced . Update of my knowledge about the topic :
The male Super that I knew about breeding 2 years ago , ended up being a slug litter.
Last year, a Super Jungle female was bred and produced a litter , but unfortunately they were born too early, and either died, or were stillborn. That same female was bred again this year , and she died while gravid. So it is at least possible for Super Jungles to produce - it just hasn't been done with a live healthy litter as the outcome , yet .
