Hyperactive Hypos???

I have both a normal boa and a hypo. I have notice that the hypo is more jumpy or nervous than the normal. I handle them both 3 or 4 times a week. Has any one else found the hypo to be more skitsh than the normals?

Re: Hyperactive Hypos???

i have two hypos...the older one i got as as yearling, she was never really handled except for feeding and cleaning. she is a little nervous around us, but shes not very active, especially during the day. but, who knows, she might be active at night when im sleeping, but i just dont feel like waking up at all hours of the night to see whats shes up to LOL. i still dont handle her all that often so sometimes shes still nervous, but she still lets us handle her with no probs.

my younger hypo i got her when she was about 1 month old, naturally, she was nervous cause she was so young, but i wouldnt consider her skittish. shes now about 5mo and with the regular handling, shes just as calm as our normals and other morphs

Re: Hyperactive Hypos???

my hypos are more curious snakes that my normals. they both like to move around a look at stuff and crawl all over things as well, but once my male is done with that he likes to just lay in my lap.
