What kind of boa did I buy? PICS
I am not sure if any of you remember me or not but a few months back i bought an albino and het. I hd to sell them because I got orders to go to Hawaii. Well the orders ended up going away so I am staying in the states and am back into the hobby. I put in a order on king snake and got a nice albino male with a lot of red, and a female het. I will post pics when they arrive. Today I went to a local pet store and asked if they had any hets. They pulled this female out and I knew i could not leave without it. I know it is a hypo but compared to other hypos it looks way different. I don't have any pics of the eyes right now but i wish i did. The head is a different color than the body. The body is tannish and the head is dark grey and light grey. The pics really do not do her justice i don't think. She has a lot of orange on her sides and belly. She comes with paper work that says she is 60%? het albino and some percent super. I am not sure what super is but I am going to look it up sometime tonight. I can't wait to see what kind of babies her and the albino i have will make here in a couple of years. Thanks for looking and I appreciate all the input you can give me. I will try to get some better pics later. These are just some that i took while in the store.

That is a fantastic looking snake. I love all that white edging on the tail! No clue what's going on in her gene pool but she sure looks like a good find to me!

Looks like an Abberent patterened Salmon, to me.. *head-tilt* I'm not too familiar with Boa morphs, but it's definetely a looker!

Re: What kind of boa did I buy? PICS
never heard of that kind, i am excited to get some pics of its eyes. they are a solid color instead of the three tone that most boas have. Almost makes me think it may be blind but i dont think that is the case. the flash on the camera made the head look a lot lighter than in person.
thanks for all the fast replies as usual on this awesome A+++ sight

I looked at a lot of salmons and i do notice the grey head and tan bodys on them. Wonder why they called it a hypo on the papers?

Salmons and Hypos are the same thing, just a different genetic line.. kind of like the Kahl strain, and Sharp strain albino boas.
So technically your snake is a hypo, just looks closer to the salmon line, to me.
