Best F/T Stores?
After searching and asking all the local stores about special ordering F/T rats....I'm lost!!! I've been buying live - killing, and then feeding these pre-killed rats to my snake, which I'm not fond of because of the mites!!!
If you have any idea on what online places are REALLY reputable for rats and rabbits....fair price too (I don't have a bunch of money, and it's harder now that we only have one income and I'm going to school...) please help me out.
She eats about 1 jumbo rat a month (She eats, poos, sheds, then eats again, which takes about 2 - 4 weeks)....HELLLPPPP!!!

Re: Best F/T Stores?
Unfortunately you're going to pay a lot for shipping from online stores. I've used rodentpro.com before. Others have also used themousefactory.com and bigcheeserodents.com.

Re: Best F/T Stores?
I will stick with The Mouse Factory for the rest of my life. They only deal with mice and rats, but their quality is next to none.

Re: Best F/T Stores?
I've ordered from The Mouse Factory several times and from Big Cheese one time; thought I'd try Big Cheese since their prices are lower than Mouse Factory. Well, you get what you pay for...
Without doubt, The Mouse Factory is top-notch all the way with Big Cheese coming in a distant second. From the quality of the rodents to the packaging of the rodents to the smell of the rodents after thawing, The Mouse Factory is clearly superb. I can't wait to use up all of my inferior Big Cheese rodents and happily pay a little more for excellent quality rodents from The Mouse Factory.

Re: Best F/T Stores?
Don't buy any F/T. Just get F. Do the T-ing when you're ready to feed.
I love Big Cheese Rodent Factory.

Re: Best F/T Stores?
I figured the thawing came in when I did it - I just put F/T because that's what I'm used to saying when I talk about my snakes food. Sorry for that confusion.
I checked out The Big Cheese...and I gotta say...the website looks a bit in shambles, not much for "book covers" eh?
The Mouse Factory seems decent enough
I'll probably end up going to RodentPro or Mouse Factory. Still trying to find opinions (the testimonials on their site don't count).

Re: Best F/T Stores?
I would not order from Rodent Pro based on anecdotal evidence from others.
Just my 2 cents...
