is hypo the same as salmon?

if not, whats the difference? ive read conflicting things....someone says its the same thing, others say they are two diff morphs...who is correct here?

All salmons are hypos, but not all hypos are salmons, in the same way that all rectangles are squares, but not all squares are rectangles.

ETA: Or that all pirates are sailors, but not all sailors are pirates. My man insisted I offer that comparison as well. He says it's better than mine. lol

Salmons and Hypos are all the same gene. just 2 different lines. kinda like saying in leopard geckos.. you have bell line and tremper line. they are both albinos no matter how you cut it.

Don't you mean all squares are rectangles but not all rectangles are squares?

LOL thanks for the replies so lets say someone puts a hypo and a salmon in front of me, side by side so i can look at them. how would i be able to tell the difference? what are characteristics of both salmons and hypos?
