I wasn't trying to get you fired up or imply the breeder did anything wrong.
The commonly used term "Columbian red tail boa" is not used correctly by many people. "Red Tail" refers to BCC.

	Boa Constrictor Constrictor Red Tail Boa Constrictor (Boa constictor constrictor). Refers to "true" red tail boas such as the Guyana and Suriname locales.

No no no- it's all good! You didn't get me fired up and I realize the sloppy terminology used by many.

The reason I called them was because so many people on this forum and two other forums are debating whether this boa is a bci or a bcc!
I feel in the rather odd position of having to convince people that, no, really, I have an inexpensive snake relative to the cost of a Suriname!!!! Crazy!!!!

However, I so truly appreciate the kind words for this snake! I also appreciate the extra education I've been getting regarding bci's and bcc's.

So, it's all good. And again, give Sharon and Paul a buzz and chat with them. She's been in the business for along time and is cited in Vin's book "The Complete Boa Constrictor". She's an incredible breeder and produces some really amazing boas!!

She WILL return your emails if she's getting them! Their server is funky sometimes.... Why don't you call instead of email?
