I had all the questions and everyone welcomed with open arms and thanks for that, my boa set up is better then ever, he just shed in one peice. (Still all i got is crappy cell phone pictures)

My question is for the future, I plan on buying 2 snakes, I got my columbian BCI, I plan on getting an albino orange/pink boa, the one I bought had brothers that are albino (As I said he has the trait) but there sold for $1500, which is alot of money, but I hear not too overpriced...My friend out in jersey spent 900 on his. What is the average price of an albino boa with the pastel pink/orange? Ill end up ordering him from the net im sure when the time comes (In about 8-10 months). Someone posted a bunch they bred, sorry I forgot your username but how much did/do you sell them for?

Albinos range from about $400-$800 depending on pattern and color. Sunglows (Albinos that are also hypomelanistic) go for about $1500. Pet stores sell them for about $800-$1000 (and completely overpriced). The bigger and more reputable breeder (Peter Kahl for instance) can charge a price as high as $1000 because of the guarenteed quality of the boa. You should be able to pick up a baby for around $500. I've seen them as low as $350, and as high as $1000. $500 is a decent price, but they'll be dropping in price for every breeding season as more become available. Last year the rate was around $500, this year they'll be around $350-$400 depending on the breeder. The cheaper ones will be from albino x albino breeding which are genetically weaker than albino x heterozygous breeding and het to het breeding. You can get a very pretty albino for around $600, or if you shop around, you'll be able to find one cheaper than that.

	Heterozygous Heterozygous - the animal carries the gene for a genetic trait but does not outwardly demonstrate the trait. Example: A boa that is het for albino looks normal but carries the albino gene. When it is bred to another het for albino boa or an albino boa, a percentage of the offspring will be albino.

And boa guy, whats the difference between the ID:BGR-07-20FA and the ID:BGR-07-15FA

And boa guy, whats the difference between the ID:BGR-07-20FA and the ID:BGR-07-15FA
Both albino females born same time.

BGR-07-20FA was the pick of the litter and has the best color of them all. Because of this she is my keeper so someone would have to come up with the price that I feel she is worth if they would like to have her.

Just as a side note: The Boa Guy has great quality in his boas. I have three from him now and im very impressed and happy with them. Im sure that number will only get bigger : )

boaguy in the future seeing as you are from jersey, its sufficient that I can do a local pick up. If I dont do it now im doing it next year, you plan on breeding again within the next 1-2 years for albinos?
