A man is wanting to sell me some het snow adults. Unfamiliar with the morph I dont know what to look for in Het Snows. He doesnt have pictures cause he says his pc at home is crashed and he is having to use the one at work. Do any of you have any suggestions for me on things to ask about apperance wise that will give me any indications weither or not he is lieing or not about what they are?

Re: What to look for...
No offence but it sounds like a setup unless you know the guy. As soon as people start making excuses I stay away. No pictures and computer crashing!?!?!?!?! You cannot tell HET's being that they have no appearence changes and just are het for something. my .2

Re: What to look for...
If your buying hets especially double recessive traits you really need to trust the breeder. I know with all my hets that I sell I send a signed certificate of origin guaranteeing genetics. Now as far as your situation it is very rare for anybody to be giving up het. snow adults. So if the price tag is not very high I would be weary. Also if the price is very high you can try to talk him down to a drastically lower price If he budges he is most likely just trying to scam you.

Re: What to look for...
Thats what I had in mind. Which is why I was posting this to see if there was any way of telling weither the guy was lieing or not. He supposedly is moving and having to get out of the buisness. He had 3 ads up, one for a female hypo adult, which had pictures and another of a young hypo female. They both had pictures on that ad and looked very nice. I forgot to check to see the time posted on those compared to the other. He was selling lot of 9 snakes all together. The hets were 3ft long, give or take a few. I asked him if he would sell them to me with out me having to buy the whole lot. And he said yes and quoted me $275 + shipping. For all 4 snakes. I found that very hard to believe even for regular boas. I asked him if he took paypal and if he could give me some sort of records, such as pictures of the parents that he might have in some sort of photo album online. And if he had any papers on them. Im still waiting for his reply.

Re: What to look for...
Thats what I figured too. XP still considering it however. If he takes paypal and does scam me I can always get my money back through them.

Re: What to look for...
First off 3ft long is not an adult. Second for an adult pair of het snows you would pay close to if not over $3000. Third the only way to tell if he scams you is to raise them up and breed them. By this time paypal will be of no help.

Yes all of that is true. When I first posted this thread, I was to believe they were adults from the ad he had posted, since the first post he told me they were 3ft+ long. I know thats not adults. I wouldnt even consider a rtb an adult till atlease 6ft long and 10 lbs for females.
