Question for all you boa breeders!
Okay my question do you think my male hypo will br ready to breed next breeding season?
If you seen my new pics Hypo-DUW-
then you have and idea how big he is.
He is growing like a weed and is eating every week, and will be 2 this april.
So what do ya think?
I feel he will, but I just wanted a second, third, fourth etc....
opinion.
Thanks.

Should be. If he fails to function, give him another year.

Re: Question for all you boa breeders!
I think he'll be read to breed. Since he's already 2 he's mature, personally I would have put him with a female this year just to see what would happen. I know people breeding hypos at 18 months and 4-5 feet. My two are 2 years old (mid 2005 babies), about 5-6 foot and they bred two of my females this year.

I did, He showed little courting, and then would go by himself in the cage.
Her has grown a lot since then though.

Re: Question for all you boa breeders!
I would say give him a try hes mature enough. Most would say a male is ready at about 18 months but every boa is difference also so as everyone else said give it a try, sit back and cross your fingers.

Re: Question for all you boa breeders!
He's a pretty snake, there's very little doubt in my mind that he'll preform and be fertile. I'd run with him.
