The Wait is On.
When I first got Juliette, she could fit into my pocket. See?
I got her from that really nice Boaphile guy.
Back in December, she kindof Grew Up so to speak. This is her picture then:
That other handsome tail in said pic belongs to Oberon. Here's his smiling mug:
Today is that mystical 105th day after her Post Ovulation Shed.
Since she came from Mr Boaphile Person Sir, I figured that she would have read his breeding article from Way Back in 1996 or the more recent video, which I made sure to sit down and watch with her when she Came of Age.
But no... Day 105 has come and gone... and she continues to look like this:
All the mad pacing around her cage must have made her tired:
(Stupid Morti... cut the nose off of an otherwise perfectly good yawn pic).
I really hope that she has her babies soon. Otherwise, I might just look like this due to lack of sleep:
Incidentally, she is 66% Possible het for albino, and so is Oberon... So their babies could be fantastic sunglows. That would make me look like this:

Oh morti, this makes me so sad. My first baby boa was named Juliette. The day I named her she died.  I hope your Juliette has some awesome babies. Can't wait to see the pics. |
