RBT not pooping-3 weeks now
My 6 month old, 3ft RBT is not pooping. He has not pooped for almost 3 weeks not and I'm getting worried. He was on a regular weekly to bi-weekly pooping schedule prior. He has shed within the last week, eaten recently and is on medication (for the last 5 days) for a RI. I don't want to soak him because the humidity in the bathtub seems to aggravate his RI and he seems very stressed when I soak him in a bowl also. I've tried massaging his lower belly area to stimulate something/anything ... still no poop almost 3 weeks now. He's healthy otherwise. In his tank ambient temp close to 85% and humidity 40% (to treat RI). I don't know what to do. I don't want him to get sick or die because of this. Should I be worried? Is this normal? Are there any suggestioins you can make for treating this no pooping problem?

Re: RBT not pooping-3 weeks now
my girl goes about once a month or so. I can almost always count on her going during shed. I don't think you have anything to worry about at this point.

Re: RBT not pooping-3 weeks now
If it's on meds, there is a good chance that the snake isn't pooping yet to absorb more nutrients from his meal. Like they said, 3 weeks is absolutely nothing to worry about. Search for other links on this site for more detail. There have been hundreds of posts on this topic.
