Mom must have been an emerald!
I have had my 3 week old Bci for about a week now, and she has been in THIS position everyday and everynight. Does not want to be on the ground or in the water, LOVES the top of that tree!
Is this Juvinile BCI behavior?
Heres another pic I took of her outside today.

Re: Mom must have been an emerald!
I've come to realize that they find their favorite spots and will always end up there. Mine, however, have never chosen the top of a plant! Let it enjoy those moments while they last...it will crush that stuff later!

yeah difinitely! THanks on the cage. Its actually a photo illusion. The back of the aquarium has a great realistic setting on it. For the pic I put real moss in the bottom, then the great log piece. heres another pic of that setup..

Re: Mom must have been an emerald!
when my bci was little (about 2ft) she really liked to hide out on branches and entwined in the fake plants.
she's close to 5 ft now so i've taken out alot of the cage furniture just to avoid her knocking it all around and possibly falling on her
she's in a 4' x 2' x 15"(i think) AP.
i'd like to build her a larger and taller enclosure in the next few months with a ledge or two and some fixed strong climbable parts so that she can exercise and climb to her heart's content and become a big strong happy beast of a boa

Re: Mom must have been an emerald!
What is all that green stuff in there. That cage looks really good. Especially since you unpluged something... Glad your snake looks happy and healthy. Both of them.
