Cage Heating Options

Hi Guys,

I recently built this 36" x 15" x 12" melamine cage.

As you can see from the picture I have installed a 8" x 12" UTH on the left side...covered by a vinyl floor tile. This provides me with great belly heat....and the design of the cage hold humidity very well.

My only problem is ambient air temp. Despite my belly heat around 90-92F the air temp on the cool side is always about 72F. I've been looking at radiant heat panels....but they are a bit pricey.

Has anyone tried these radiant panels from big apple herp?

Re: Cage Heating Options

I get mine from Pro-Products. Perhaps just get a space heater for the room the boa is in to boost up the ambient temps.
