Panicking right now because there are NO reptile vets in my area so I'm hoping to god this isn't something that's going to be major. I'll make the drive if I have to, of course, but with gas prices and my work schedule the way they are I want to be sure I'm not freaking out over nothing.
One of my little kids has an irregularity/lump in her neck. It isn't so much a 'lump' though; just, as you run a finger along her back or neck from the head about a quarter inch from the back of her head the girth changes with a notable and ridgelike 'rise' under the skin. I know this isn't normal, but is this a sign that something's wrong? She seems completely healthy otherwise, but I've never had an animal that seems to have this so I'm worried. Does anyone know what's going on here, and should I get her to a vet?
